In this class for ages 7-12, we will explore foundational theater skills so you can step into the spotlight with total confidence.

This session is an epic mix of skill-building and lots of fun.

What we'll explore:

• Stage fundamentals

• Master stage directions

• Onstage and backstage navigation

• Essential rehearsal etiquette

Character and story: learn how to develop a character and bring them to life, and explore the art of storytelling. Dive into key acting concepts like intention and obstacle.

Addition preparation: learn how to select materials, practice casting room etiquette, and build the confidence to deliver a fantastic audition.

Improv and games: of course, we will play plenty of high-energy theater games to keep the creativity flowing.

Skills for home: discover practical, fun ways to keep improving your acting skills even when you're offstage.

The grand finale: at the end of the session, every student will get to put their brand-new skills to use and perform a special skit for their friends and family.
