Juggling and stage combat

For ages 12-18, this is your chance to acquire a few special theater skills.

In this class, you will have the opportunity to learn all sorts of cool tricks: 

• Juggling

• Balls

• Scarves

• Spins

• Rings

• Poi spinning (it’s awesome)

• Diabolo (aka Chinese yo-yo)

• Lasso (in case you ever need to whip out one for a production of “Annie Get Your Gun.”

You will also learn stage combat and practice everything from rolls, kicks, and punches to believable weapon-wielding.

We'll delve into the mechanics of a good fight scene and how to choreograph one yourself.

We'll explore how to blend the art of acting with stage combat techniques to create scenes that are both exciting to watch and emotionally driven. No experience needed! This is going to be fun!
